As police and soldiers brought an end to the violence in Mumbai, new details about the coordinated terrorist attacks begin to surface. The group responsible for the attacks planned to kill at least 5,000 people in and around the 9 sites attacked. In the end, the 183 deaths have been confirmed, with hundreds more injured. The Taj Mahal Hotel recently increased security at its hotel after receiving credible information that terrorist attacks were being planned in Mumbai.
