According to the police report, the officer got to the Wal-Mart before 1 a.m. Monday, and an employee said a man was locked in the bathroom drinking Listerine mouthwash.

The man refused the officer’s order to come out of the bathroom, so the officer went in. He found that that ‘minty fresh’ man had locked himself in a stall and was on the floor continuing to drink the mouthwash.

The officer forced the stall open, and the man then tried to drink the rest of the mouthwash.

Obviouslly the man was then arrested and taken to jail.

These are hard times for all, but seriouslly I know you can get a 40 of malt liquor for about a dollar at 7-11.

A malfunctioning gun gave three people the chance to wrestle the shooter to the ground Saturday night in front of Brewski’s Bar and Grill before he could shoot anyone.

Bremerton police were called to the bar along the 2800 block of Kitsap Way at 11:40 p.m. for a fight between two women and two men. When police arrived, the two women and one man were on top of another male, beating him up.

The women told officers when they came out of the bar, the 23-year-old started yelling at them. They exchanged words and the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the women. The women told officers that the man had racked the gun several times, but no shots were fired.

The man appeared drunk, but police couldn’t do a Breathalyzer test because he had blood in his mouth. When police arrested the man, he said he was the victim and that the two women jumped him for no reason.

He also said: “I can’t believe I got my ass kicked by two girls,” according to reports.

He was arrested on suspicion of four counts of first-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon. He did not have a concealed-weapons permit. He was taken to Kitsap County jail and held on $100,000 bail.
